NORTHERN NIGHTS ECO FARM
From forest to farm, stay, learn, and grow with us
Our mission is to transform forested land into a thriving farm where regenerative agriculture, sustainable practices, and natural ecosystems work in harmony. Through holistic design and thoughtful integration, we create a balanced environment where each element strengthens the others, promoting biodiversity, sustainability, and long-term resilience, with less labor-intensive input than traditional farming methods.

Agritourism
Stay in eco-friendly glamping accommodations, where you can relax or explore the farm. Enjoy guided tours, hands-on experiences, and educational workshops, retreats, and seasonal events that connect you with nature and sustainable living.
Regenerative Agriculture
Soil health is restored through organic composting, cover crops, minimal tillage, and rotational grazing. Selective thinning promotes forest health, while natural pest management maintains a chemical-free environment.

Sustainable Farming
Food production is nurtured through efficient irrigation, rainwater harvesting, and soil moisture retention. Small-scale livestock is integrated using silvopasture practices to improve soil health and sustainability.
Agroforestry
The forest's natural ecosystem is utilized to create ideal growing conditions for food production. By integrating trees, native plants, and perennial crops, food forests are cultivated to support mushrooms, nuts, berries, and medicinal plants.

Permaculture
Our self-sustaining ecosystems require minimal external inputs, integrating closed-loop systems for energy, water, soil health and waste management while leveraging biodiversity to naturally control pests.
Wildlife Restoration
Habitats are restored to support native plants and wildlife, creating spaces where wildlife can thrive. Wildlife corridors and pollinator-friendly areas are established to enhance biodiversity and forest health.

Wildfire Mitigation
Fire risk is reduced by clearing deadwood, brush, and invasive plants, creating firebreaks, and developing water resources such as ponds for fire suppression and ecosystem benefits.
Organic Foods
Enjoy a variety of organic farm-grown produce, including honey, eggs berries, vegetables, herbs, jams, and preserves, all cultivated with sustainable practices.

Community Engagement
Hands-on workshops in farming, permaculture, and regenerative practices are offered, alongside collaborations with local farmers, schools, and businesses to promote sustainability and strengthen local economies.
Environmental Stewardship
Renewable energy, waste minimization, and eco-friendly land management reduce pollution, combat climate change, and lower the carbon footprint. Sustainable practices foster environmental stewardship, creating more resilient communities.

Biochar Production
Biochar improves soil health by enhancing water and nutrient retention, boosting crop yields, and reducing irrigation needs. It promotes beneficial microbes, reduces certain pests, and sequesters carbon, supporting sustainable farming for years to come.
Hydroponic Farming
Hydroponic grow towers optimize space and water use, boosting growth and yields. They recycle water, reducing usage by up to 10 times, and allow for year-round gardening with fewer pests and weeds, offering cleaner, more efficient gardening.

Pollinator Restoration
Developing and improving habitats to support essential pollinators such as bees, butterflies, and other beneficial insects. By planting a variety of native flowers, creating suitable nesting areas, and reducing pesticide use.
